They signify the emergence of something new while thriving in any environment. This home overlooks the water, is nestled among cedar trees, and sits atop a cliff under the open sky. Sit on the deck with a gorgeous view of the ocean and watch hummingbirds and dragonflies zip among the flowers while deepening family bonds. An expansive, light-filled luxury home with wood floors, granite counters, and vaulted ceilings, it has been called “very family friendly” and “perfect for intergenerational family gatherings.” The home is equipped with a kids' table, baby gate, portable crib, books & games, two TVs with Netflix & Disney, a cozy adult living room with a fireplace, a second living area and kitchen downstairs, six large bedrooms, three spacious bathrooms with heated floors, two soaker tubs, three steam showers, and an outdoor firepit. There is something here for everyone to enjoy. This home is located across the US border. It has an island feel where time stands still, yet it is less than an hour from downtown Vancouver and only 30 minutes from Vancouver International Airport. This is the place where beloved author Lisa MK Ling began writing "DragonFly: Balidova & the Dragon." This is her family home. With each stay, receive a signed copy of the book as well as a goodie basket, including a beautiful dragon puppet. Renew family connections and rejuvenate yourself amidst the beauty of Mother Nature—sun, sea, sand, and sky—at the DragonFly House.

July 2025 5.00The house was warm and very comfortable. With a family of 9, the house accommodated everyone very well, with a great view and it was very clean. Eden at Lifeline Rentals was a perfect host and available if needed. Will definitely go through them again in the near future.

July 2025 5.00We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. Although I didn’t realize that it was in the US when I booked it, the border crossing every day to get into Vancouver was easy and there were no problems. The host was very nice and helpful and responded quickly. They also gave great recommendations for things to do in the Vancouver area. Would recommend this place to any large party.

September 2024 5.00We had a wonderful stay and everything was so nice, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked and the King bed mattress in the master bedroom was very good. Every space felt cozy and there were plenty of linens and blankets. The views from the home were even better than the pictures! The communication was prompt and we were able to check-in a little early which was much appreciated. We even received a gift of a dragon puppet and a lovely book with beautiful art cards:) We hope to stay here again next summer on our yearly visit to Point Roberts and highly recommend this home as a great base to explore the area.
